The staff considered deeply the fact that others might want to be able to access an online translator or an online thesaurus, maybe even a dictionary. So we came up with the idea of this area. This is for help links just as such mentioned above. Anytime you think of one that might be useful to the other members, feel free to leave it in Interrogate the Staff or PM it to any staff member. We will happily put it up and give Thanks to those who gave us the links.
Basic Help
Using and Understanding UBBC Coding: This site will help those who don't understand how to edit the texts with UBBC coding. It will help explain how to change color, font faces, font styles etc. It also helps you understand what quite a few of the tag buttons do for you.
We understand that not everyone in the world speaks fluent English, for this we provide a Free Online Translator. This should help with most any word you need translated into most any language. If you decide to use a different language in your signature, please be sure to provide a translation for those that do not understand.
Also, the Free Online Dictionary and Thesaurus. This site offers a dictionary, thesaurus and encyclopedia. When combined with the other two sites, you should have all the resources that you need.
Occasionally Characters get injured and you might want to be able to properly describe or name the injury or ailness, for this we offer WebMd It's a great place to find information about almost any illness or injury that could happen. Just simply type in the type of injury or illness in the search box, and it brings up everything that could be needed.
No one expects you to remember every single detail, spell, potion, Ministry official, or Quidditch player by heart. But as we should aim to be correct you can always check the info right here in HP lexicon.
