Name: Litana (Lita) Hollows Blood: Pureblood Age: 16 Year: Sixth House: Ravenclaw Pet: A dark purple pygmy puff, Rei. Wand: 11 inch, ebony, phoenix feather
Physical Description: Lita has fairly long, dark brown hair. Her eyes are a slightly lighter brown than her hair. Lita is slightly shorter than the average eleven year old, a fact which earned her much friendly teasing from her brother.
Biography (include information about your character's history, personality and interests): Morganna and Alaric, two Ravenclaws, had only truly met in their seventh year but bonded instantly. Sharing a love of books and a search for knowledge, they both agreed that marriage was a fairly sensible option and it was a decision heartily supported by both sets of parents - even if Morgannas parents sensed trouble looming somewhere in the distant future and were only agreeing to the match because they could see the love for Alaric shining in the eyes of their only daughter. Sure enough, the trouble seemed only to be in the minds of Morganna's parents when, after only two years, the family was blessed with a baby boy and Alaric seemed overjoyed, fussing over the boy and spending as much time with him as possible. So the fears and worries were laid aside and celebration swept through the family once more when, four years later, Litana was born.
Far from the resentment that their parents had expected from Adrian, he doted on his little sister and silently vowed to protect her from everything. Both siblings were showered with love and attention, never separated until Lita turned two. Adrian had been attempting to help her nanny to teach her to write but was forced away in order to attend pre-Hogwarts lessons about the wizarding world. Lita couldn't understand why her brother was hardly there but soon grew used to the absence of her brother, learning to stop relying on her brother for everything. When she turned six, Lita went through the same training that Adrian had but in slightly more detail. Morganna taught her beloved daughter everything she could without breaking the laws about underage magic. Forced to stick to theory, Lita had started to delve into the theory of spells meant for third and second years by the time she turned nine and had thoroughly memorized and understood the theory behind the first year spells.
Despite their parents teachings, which took up most of their time, Lita and Adrian remained close and didn't let the differences in their personalities affect them. Lita is more light-hearted than her brother, letting herself enjoy the lighter, teasing side of her personality. Although she's comfortable and teasing with her friends and family, stranger and crowds are a completely different story. When confronted with strangers, Lita used to seek protection from her brother, sliding behind him and letting him do all the talking. She isn't sure exactly why she hates crowds and strangers so much but doesn't question it, simply trusting her brother to always be there to protect her from her fear. That tendency stopped somewhat after Adrian graduated and she had no one to rely on but herself and the few friends she had who hadn’t graduated.
After rarely seeing her brother due to their schooling, Lita started to rely less on her brother and more on herself and her own wit. She still adores her brother and takes immense pleasure from annoying him and generally being a pest but no longer expects him to solve all of her problems as she once did. Her Hogwarts letter was received with mixed feelings; happiness that she would finally experience the school that she pestered her brother about, wariness about what would happen there and a mixture of sadness and annoyance that she wouldn't see her parents and horse for almost a year. Yet, a quick solution to the situation was thought up by Adrian and presented to Lita; Rei, her purple pygmy puff. Consoled and reassured that she wouldn't be alone, Lita adapted to the idea of going to Hogwarts and found herself ready for whatever the year would bring.
The year that Gaenor, her self-titled protector and close friend, graduated wasn’t welcomed warmly by Lita and it seemed that, no sooner had she adjusted to Gaenor graduating, that Adrian graduated as well, leaving her without the company of her two favourite people. It took her a while to stop looking around for the presence of her tall friend or slightly shorter brother and even longer to get out of the habit of retreating to the Slytherin common room whenever she wanted company. With the two Slytherins gone, the idea that she wasn’t a good Ravenclaw also disappeared from her mind which led to her spending more time with her housemates.
At the start of her sixth year, Lita received a series of letters which infuriated her. The stables and riding school in which she had originally learnt to ride had been legally left to her in her Aunts will but her cousins plan to challenge the will and gain ownership of the stable and school. Lita knows that the news would anger her brother, which is why she hasn’t told him yet, nor does she plan to. The reasoning behind her not telling Gaenor is even simpler yet also more complicated. Although he could help her with the situation, Lita finds herself wanting to prove that she doesn’t need him there to protect her all the time, an aim which coincides perfectly with the love for him which she keeps secret from everyone.

Name: Meyghan Angel Gallagher Blood: Meyghan is a pureblood Age: 16 Year:6th House: Ravenclaw Pet: A purple pygmy puff named MeyMey Wand: Oak, and Red Cedar. 12 1/4 inches long. Phoenix Feather
Physical Description: Meyghan is a fairly tall girl that stands 5 foot, 9 inches, and long, beautiful dark brown hair, with a bit of a hint of blond in it. She has piercing blue-ish green eyes that are the first thing you notice when you look at her, and a soft, pale complexion. She also has a beautiful smile that will hypnotize the person lucky enough to see it.
Biography: Late one November night, a lady and her husband went to St. Mungo’s. They were a pureblood family, and the lady was pregnant and about to give birth. She was expecting a little girl. A few troublesome hours Meyghan Angella Gallagher was born to the loving couple. Three years later the loving couple had another baby, a boy, Cleveland Bates Gallagher. All went well with the birth and Cleveland and Angella came home safely. Meyghan's mother passed away a year later though, in a terrible muggle car accident on her way to get medicines for Cleveland. It had been a terribly stormy night and the roads were slippery, when an unusually huge dog like creature had run out in front of Meyghan's mom, causing her to serve off the road. Her car flipped and began to roll down a hill, stopping only because of a huge oak tree. Meyghan's mother Angella was pronounced dead apon arrival by the muggle medics. Meyghan was two, and unable to understand. So Felton decided to raise the two the best he could by himself. He had no need to work, since he came from a long line of wealthy purebloods, and had many artifacts that most people would have paid fortunes for. As time passed by, Felton never thought of getting re-married. He just enjoyed spending time with his children and teaching them what little magic that they were allowed to learn outside of school. Suddenly the day came when Cleveland was old enough to start school. Felton pondered on where to send him, and finally decided on Durmstrang for his son, yet he made up his mind at the same time that when Meyghan’s time came, he would let her go to Hogwart’s. That was, if she was accepted to the school.
As the next two more years went by, Meyghan began to develop her own personality. At first she was shy around the other children in the neighborhood, but slowly she became more playful, and outgoing. Meyghan began to blossom before her father’s very eyes, and before long was ready to go to school. She had read every book that her father would let her read and loved every moment of it. Making sure to take notes of the books she read. Meyghan anxiously awaited the day that her letter would come.
Finally that day came. Meyghan and her father were outside, getting ready to ride horses, when suddenly her father noticed an owl flying toward them. He let the owl land on his horse, and took its letter. The letter was addressed to Meyghan, and when her father turned it over, he noticed that it had come from Hogwarts. She had been accepted. She was to be on the train by eleven o’clock, and there was a list of supplies that they needed to get. Meyghan knew that meant a trip to Diagon Alley. She loved to go shopping there, and watch all the wizards and witches performing magic. It made her so excited for the day that she would be able to do magic. She, her father and her brother went shopping the day before the train left, and stayed at the Leaky Cauldron that night. Meyghan woke up early the next morning, too excited to sleep or eat. Her father gave her some money before he put her on the train and told her to write after her sorting. Meyghan’s sorting went well, she was put in Ravenclaw. That excited her, for that was the same house that her dad had said her mom was in.
Meyghan’s first year went well. She stayed in the library most of the time reading up on potions and charms. Those quickly became her two favorite subjects followed by Transfiguration. Meyghan continued to let her personality grow. Meyghan soon discovered how Slytherins treated the other students who didn’t think the same way they did about muggle born wizards and witches. So she decided that they weren’t going to run over her and taunt her like they did the others, and they wouldn’t tease her friends either. She was one of the best in her class in charms so she soon became one that no one cared to make mad. Of course the Slytherins continued to try to taunt her, but she would just jinx them and make everyone laugh at them. Her second year was pretty much the same as her first. There was nothing different about it, except that the classes got a little harder, but she expected that. She continued to let her personality grow some more, this time seeing how everyone would react to her changing a little more. This time she became more outgoing than usual, talking to everyone she met. She wanted to meet everyone in the school this year, and was well on her way to accomplishing her goal. The third year flew by, since she stayed the same way that she was in her second year. Her fourth year, however was a little different, she became braver, while everyone around her seemed to be frightened. Everyone was scared of attacks from the Death Eaters. Summer came along and sure enough there have been attacks, but Meyghan’s not scared. She just wishes that she could help more.
Now as Meyghan looks back on her fifth year, she realizes just how exciting it was. Her father has fallen in love, and soon plans to marry thus giving Meyghan new siblings as well as a second mom. She has had her first crush, but has yet to admit to him just how much she really likes him. She’s been doing great at leaving subtle hints though. Meyghan is thrilled that her life is turning out so well, but she fears that something bad is yet to happen. She has no one to confide this in just yet, so she keeps it bottled up and hopes that everything goes perfect. Meyghan's sixth year is getting off to a great start.

Name: Damon Chyren Graas Blood: Pureblood Age: 15 Year: 5th House: Ravenclaw Pet: Eagle-owl Wand: 11 inches, phoenix feather, willow
Physical Description: Damon has golden-brown hair with the front part of it always seeming to fall into his green eyes. Really, with both parents having green eyes, it is only natural most kids have them too. Damon has a leaner build than his older brother though. Slim hips, toned muscles but nothing too big and over-bearing. Rather the built of a runner and Damon is the tallest of his brothers – and sisters – as well.
Biography: Damon is the 2nd child and 2nd son of Kris and Cleo being born a 11 months after his older brother Rister. He had a very happy childhood. Shielded from anything he couldn’t take, yet Damon was left to explore and experiment freely and he was allowed to get hurt from time to time as well. Thereby he is fully aware of his limits very well. He gets on very well with both of his parents as well as with all of his siblings even though Damon doesn’t what have could be called an easy character. He is a subtle player. He can toy with words and avoid straight answers for apparently all eternity. If he doesn’t want to tell, then you need Veritaserum to break his will. And even that isn’t a sure tactic because if given a moment of time Damon can rethink most situations for himself in a way that makes him belief that something else is true, or the truth you wan’t isn’t the fully correct one, thus making the truth-potion worthless. Out of all of his brothers and sisters, Damon has the strongest will. He’ll bend a little if needed, only to gather his wits and strength and find your weakest point. And once he is ready he will charge and snap everything back into the track he wished to follow from the start. A very hard character to handle as he can deliver the most cutting insult with the most polite smile and the sweetest tone of voice as if he was offering some cool refreshments on a hot summer day.
Damon likes plans. He likes to take time off and evaluate the ways things can go in his mind as he’s much to secretive to write his thoughts down and there-by leave evidence. He lives by the Slytherin rule-book for bigger part of time, having made winning in power-plays almost into a form of art. Yet the one thing that kept him out of that house was that he asked himself to be placed into Ravenclaw – less pressure on him – and because in Ravenclaw he will get a chance to fulfill himself better. Damon is thinking about going into politics very firmly and at that case being a Slytherin would rather play against than for him. But until then Damon doesn’t mind playing in the shadows so to say. It will give him a chance to land on his feet no matter from how high he falls. Perhaps also the reason why Damon doesn’t get detentions.

Name: Jared Romet Graas Blood: Pureblood Age: 14 Year: 4th House: Ravenclaw Pet: A snow-white kitten Wand: 10 inches, dragon’s heart-string, birch
Physical Description: Jared has a thick grown of black hair that falls around his face in an almost random way, the strands being uneven and tousled. He looks mysterious enough to play the role of a medieval poet and he certainly uses to the fullest, often charming some girl or an other, never staying with just one for long. Being slightly taller than medium, he keeps himself pleasantly fit.
Biography: Jared is the 3rd child of Kris and Cleo Graas. He’s probably the calmest of the children, always paying his time and being the most thorough with calculating all possible aspects of a matter before reaching a conclusion. He likes to study and has a way with words, either using short and frank telegraphic sentences or a flowery talk that would puzzle the most experienced political debaters. Which is probably why Jared is so fond of music. He can put forward a lot in songs he writes himself, and having written the songs himself he knows how to present them. He has a strong voice, clear, strong, and perfectly used to it’s full extent. He can often be seen fiddling with some tune on his guitar and he always has his little harmonica in his pocket next to his wand.
He’s patient. Knowing that silence makes most people feel uncomfortable, he’s fully happy to just silently and look at you, until you feel so awkward you burst out something you didn’t plan to. He feels comfortable in his world and in his body, doing his thing. He has performed occasionally at some open-air concerts with a few songs and has been met with applauses every time, yet he hasn’t agreed to sign any disc-contract just yet, always claiming it’s not his time to do that just yet, even as he has made clear that his future lays in the music industry.

Name: Leandra Chardonay Meredith Graas Blood: Pureblood Age: 13 Year: 3rd House: Ravenclaw Pet: A white kitten with a black mark on her nose Wand: 9 inches, phoenix feather, ash
Physical Description: Leandra has a mix of red and golden short-cropped hair that is left to fly around her freely for the bigger part of time. She has steel-grey eyes and a sharply angled face. While not overly tall, Leandra can’t be called short either and she’s very fit. Mainly thanks to being sporty. She likes quidditch, goes onto regular jogging tours and is quite fond of basketball as well, even thought it’s a muggle sport.
Biography: Leandra is one of the two daughters of Kris and Cleo Graas. She’s an outspoken girl, who always seems to be on the move. She despises tardiness and being late. Anyone stalling stupidly, being indecisive or just too lazy to move should be fully prepared to receive a tongue-lashing from her. Coming from a family where mastery or words is a praised quality, she is good at getting her point across as well. Being a Ravenclaw she likes learning new things, and while she doesn’t mind curling up with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate before a fire-place during an evening with a snow-storm, she often tends to prefer hands-on experimenting. She’s especially fond of nature, being the one most fond of the huge amounts of animals in her home. And while she can dress up for a party, she can just as easily romp around a muddy creek in search of crabs or bring forth a snail wrapped in a leaf from her pocket or even try to breed intelligent slugs.
While she’s fully aware of the power of words, Leandra also knows that actions can speak loudly too. It is no problem for her to pour a plate full of pepper over a fancy hair-do, taking delight in the knowledge how long it takes to get pepper out of hair. Or just as easily shove a frog down the blouse of a girl she doesn’t like. While having her bouts of tomboyishness and a generally easy-going attitude that makes her easy to befriend, she’s fiercely protective of her family and the few people, out of her numerous acquaintances, that she does call friends. She’d do anything for them and dreams of happy endings like those out of fairy-tales she so loves for all of them as well as for herself. The horse is a must, the colour of it may vary. Despite her sharp mind, she may come across as a bit naïve at times however. She tends to believe in ultimate good in everyone and is hurt to tears, should she discover any misact from someone she trusted.

Name: Riley Baldacci House: Ravenclaw Blood: Pureblood Age: 14 Year: 4th Wand: 9 inches, chestnut, unicorn hair
Appearance: Riley is a small girl almost, but not quite, reaching 5’3. She has - in her opinon - boring brown hair and quite large green eyes. She has a quite small face and she herself thinks her nose is too big. She also has dimples in both of her cheeks. A quite regular swipe of oil or dust on her face and hands is quite present as well as well as a wide smile showing a line of strong white teeth that Riley herself calls Rat-Teeth.
Biography: Riley’s parents and grandfather run restaurants with accommodation in the muggle world. Italian and Japanese restaurants to be more precise as Riley’s grandmother was Japanese. The family itself lives at one of such places. Riley’s parents are quite quiet people, with her mother keeping the restaurants money in balance while her father is one of the cooks. Riley’s grandfather is over his seventies and therefore has retired from working preferring to spend his days behind a cup of sake, talking with the costumers and chasing every young woman he can see quite loudly and obnoxiously. Riley adores her grandfather. A lot of people who aren’t blood-relatives, but feel like family live with the group as well. Two older women who help prepare the meals and waitress – Mara and Omasu - , a 12 year old girl who helps as a waitress next to school – Maria -, an 28 year old man – Stevie - who loiters around, gambles and is a complete free-loader, even if he is handy in fixing things and making sure the roof isn’t leaking and a street-kid – Logan - who is also 12. Riley loves them all with her whole heart even if squabbles and fights between her, Stevie and Logan are quite daily. Riley’s best friend is muggle as well, a 14 year old neighbour-girl, with who Riley is also constantly exchanging owls with even if she’s staying at Hogwarts.
Riley herself is quite a colourful character. She can cook – it’s only natural as she grew up in a restaurant – work as a waitress, and do numerous things at once. She loves singing even if she can’t hold a tune properly, but that doesn’t bother her, as she still sings and loudly. She is simply obsessed with Japanese anime and is devouring it whenever she has a chance of doing so dreaming for someone like the anime-heroes for herself as well and she has no hesitation in pouring the words of the latest anime she read over your head if you seem even remotedly interested. And she just as well might let you still know about it all even if you aren’t, adding the Japanese honour-fix and short expressions into her speech while she’s in her usual ‘genki’ mood and she is usually hyper even without the added benefit of sugar. This helps Riley make friends quite easily especially as she rarely seems to understand if someone is hostile towards her as she’s the brave ‘fighter for justice’ who always jumps in with her head first and without thinking. The other thing Riley is very passionate about is muggle cars. She can’t drive one but there isn’t anything she doesn’t know about a car’s engine and how the car works as she can continuously be seen singing along to loud rock that makes your blood circle faster as she’s under a car or digging something under the hood.

Name: Azura Michelle Monocreave House: Ravenclaw Blood: Pureblood Age: 14 Year: Fourth Wand: 11’ Yew with dragon heartstring core
Appearance: Azura has long blond hair, which she will usually wear down unless she is required to tie it up for some reason. She has a rather pale complexion naturally but is outdoors so often that she rarely lacks tanned skin. She also has bright blue eyes, which are generally lit up with laughter or excitement.
Biography: Azura is the youngest child of the well known apothecary Quentin Monocreave and his wife, renowned author, Olivia Bates Monocreave and, although they argue sometimes, she absolutely aodres her older brother. Thai is the first person Azura looks to for advice and comfort but, when he isn’t present or she doesn’t want to bother him, she is both smart and strong enough to puzzle through her own problems or pull herself together without her older brother’s comfort. It isn’t often, however, that Azura has important problems or worries; she’s sweet, friendly and almost unbelievably naive sometimes. Every boy who has ever tried to flirt with her has learnt that it’s useless – Azura merely takes it as them trying to be friendly and nothing more.
Thai was only fifteen months old when Azura was born. Olivia, still on maternity leave from Thai’s birth, just decided to lengthen the duration of the hiatus when Azura was born. After giving the children nearly a full year each of her time, Olivia decided that it was time to pick back up her quill and write. While she continued to stay at home, she would write while the children were napping or late at night after Azura and her brother had been put to bed and she was unable to sleep. Keeping in this fashion allowed Olivia to still dedicate much time to her children and make sure that neither of them felt neglected. Olivia wrote this way for five years, and accomplished three novels during that time. She never sent them to her publisher though as she didn’t want them to think that she was ready to start traveling again. Mr. Zignaut, the publisher, had begged Olivia over the duration of these five years to return to work as there was such a demand for her books. She had many times made him believe that she had no intentions of returning to work, and would not let him know that she had been writing the entire time. Finally one day, as Mr. Zignaut came to visit the Monocreave home, Olivia decided that the time was right to inform him that she had indeed been writing and had three novels ready for publishing. Naturally her publisher agreed, but only on the stipulation that she do a book tour for all three books. Each at a separate time, as he had no intentions of releasing them all at once. Olivia, being unsure of what to say, decided to discuss the tour with Quentin and her mother. Quentin and Zeta both urged Olivia to do the tour. Zeta agreed to come and stay with Quentin to help take care of the children while he worked, since she was an elderly widow witch. Recent attacks were the only concern in Quentin and Olivia’s mind, but the publisher assured them that they would have the best protection that the Ministry could provide. Olivia, in a deep depression, left her children for what was the first time in five years. She left just days after Azura’s fifth birthday and promised to return, even if just for a few days, in time for Thai’s seventh birthday.
Zeta had began to teach the children basic things that all children should know such as reading and writing, but she was beginning to think that with the curiosity that the two had for magic, they were at the right age to learn some precautions and things that all pureblood children should know. After a discussion with Quentin, where he plainly said that he just didn’t have the time to teach his children these things, Zeta volunteered for the task without second thoughts. It was things that Quentin wanted to teach his children, and with his wife away he was unable to find the time. It also gave her an excuse to spend extra time with the children. She so desperately wanted to be a better influence in their lives than she had been in her own daughter’s.
As the months went by and Thai's birthday approached, Azura watched her brother become more rebellious and restless, pulling practical jokes and sneaking away to explore by himself. His birthday came and went and yet their mother had not returned. Quentin and Zeta tried extremely hard to hide their worry from the children, but Thai and Azura sensed it very quickly and was able to tell that the adults was sure that something was wrong. Quentin and Zeta both tried to contact Olivia, by owl to make sure that she was alright and the tour was going smoothly, but the owls only returned the same sealed letters that they had departed with in the beginning. An attempted contact to the publisher came with the same results. Zeta finally remembered that they had been left a map of the tour with dates for each stop. As she found the map and showed it to Quentin, they realized that they had recently heard of an attack in one of the last three towns that Olivia was scheduled to appear. Quentin owled the shop keeper at the bookstore in the town that was to follow the one that had been attacked, hoping that maybe Olivia and Mr. Zagnaut had left the attacked town early, and had already arrived at the second of the three final towns, and had experienced some complications there. The book store owner owled back saying that he hadn’t heard from either of them, and hoped that everything was well. Quentin looked at Zeta after reading this owl, he knew almost instantly that something had happened. He was sure that Olivia had been in the village at the time of the attack. He owled the Ministry to see if they had any news. Their reply was that Olivia Bates had been placed on the reported missing list along with her personal publisher by his publishing firm. They promised to notify the family with any further news.
Months turned into years and still no word of Olivia. The Ministry had even told them that with it nearing four years of her disappearance there was nothing more they could do except consider her dead or one of Lord Voldemort’s followers. Quentin and Zeta did the best as a father, grandmother combination to keep the family going. They still wondered even though the Ministry had come up with their decision. Keeping the family’s lives as normal as possible was something difficult to do but it was something that had to be done. . Quentin continued to run his store, making sure to spend as much time with his children, even if it meant hiring some extra help at the store. Zeta continued to stay with Quentin and help with the children. Teaching them the basics of magic and letting them read some of her simpler spell books explaining what each spell was for and how it worked. Knowing that the children weren’t allowed to practice magic or to have a wand, Zeta only taught them how to properly say the words to each spell as they read it out loud to her.
Fairytales hold little interest for her – why is it always the boy who rescues the girl? Azura demanded to know even as a young child – but one of her friends, Riley Baldacci, has gotten her interested in anime and manga perhaps mostly because Azura, just like most girls, dreams of finding the perfect guy for her. Some people find it ironic that, despite being a romantic, Azura never notices when guys are interested in her. Most of the time – when she’s not out terrorizing Hogwarts with Riley, of course – Azura can be found in the common room or her dorm room with a sketchbook or a reel of thread and fabric. Mostly during the school year, Azura merely plans and sketches the clothing she will later make during the summer but there are times when her fingers itch for the feeling of a needle and thread pulling through fabric. In an unusual ambitious streak, Azura vows to start her own clothing line and be successful in that before reaching her nineteenth birthday. Designing and making clothes is her passion; Azura wants to make sure that it reaches its peak without failure. And maybe, if she’s fortunate, she can help to inspire other people to follow their dreams by following hers.

Name: Thai Collin Monocreave Blood: Pure Age: 16 Year: 6th House: Ravenclaw Pet: Solid black barn owl named Caldern Wand: Ebony and Cherry Wood 9 ¾ inches long with a single phoenix feather core
Physical description: Thai stands 6 foot 1 ½ inches tall with short dark brown hair. He has a somewhat muscular build, but isn’t what most would consider muscle bound. His honey colored skin brings out his bright green eyes. A shining smile and a laughter that can light up the room are usually what are noticed about him first. History: Thai Collin Monocreave is the oldest child of the well known apothecary Quentin Monocreave and his wife, renowned author, Olivia Bates Monocreave. Born August 22, 1981; Thai was the center of his mother’s world for his first year, for soon his little sister Azura Michelle came along. Thai was only fifteen months old when Azura was born. Olivia, still on maternity leave from Thai’s birth, just decided to lengthen the duration of the hiatus when Azura was born. Olivia went back to work when Thai had almost reached the age of three. After Olivia’s departure, Thai began to cling to his father’s side. He began watching Quentin mix many different potions, and eventually started helping his father with the ingredients for some of the less dangerous potions. Helping his father and seeing his grandmother’s charm work around the house aroused a curiosity in Thai. Zeta had began to teach the children basic things that all children should know such as reading and writing, but she was beginning to think that with the curiosity that the two had for magic, they were at the right age to learn some precautions and things that all pureblood children should know. It was things that Quentin wanted to teach his children, and with his wife away he was unable to find the time. It also gave her an excuse to spend extra time with the children. She so desperately wanted to be a better influence in their lives than she had been in her own daughter’s. The year went by with just a few hard but expected transgressions. Thai soon became restless and relentless as time neared for his mother‘s return. He began to act out, pulling practical jokes on his grandmother, and sneaking away from her every time they frequented the muggle village near which they lived. He continued his lessons with Azura but no longer obeyed his father or grandmother. Even helping his father with potions was no longer easy, Thai began blowing potions up and laughing as each one usually exploded in his father’s face.
Thai’s seventh birthday came before anyone realized it, and Olivia had yet to return from her trip as promised. Thai acted out more and more each day, as he could recall that his mother had promised to return. Thai became bitter toward everyone except Azura as his birthday came and he had to celebrate without Olivia. Thai at age ten had begun to wander about the muggle village down the path from his family’s home. He began to ask his father about the muggles, and how they lived not knowing there was magic in the world, when so many wizards and witches lived among them. Quentin explained that muggles just didn’t believe in magic and things of the magical world. Quentin took Thai and Zeta to some larger muggle cities to let them see how the muggles lived and in hopes that his children would be well rounded and not prejudice toward any witches or wizards that were of muggle heritage. Thai took quickly to some of the muggle past times. One he became extremely fond of was muggle dancing. This dancing wasn’t anything like the dancing Zeta had taught him and his sister, nor was it like anything that he and Azura had done while playing around with the radio playing. This dancing was more. It flowed, each move graciously into the other, but it wasn’t to the classical music like the ballet that Quentin had just taken him and Azura to. He asked his father what type of dancing it was, and Quentin calmly explained that muggles dance differently to different styles of music and this type that they were watching was called ‘Street Dancing.’ Thai liked this type of dancing, and as soon as he could he started to copy some of the moves that he had seen done out side. He found a muggle radio laying around his house and checked to see if it worked. Playing the radio in his room, Thai would dance for most of his free time. The music helped keep his mind off of his mother. Soon his birthday came, and Thai received his letter from Hogwarts. His father threw him a large birthday party, and gave him anything he asked for. Thai simply wanted muggle music and things for school. He wasn’t demanding at what he wanted.
When the time came for him to leave for Hogwarts, he hugged Azura, telling her not to cry that they would soon be in school together. She only had a year more before she could join him. Thai had no intentions of abandoning his sister. Deep in his heart, that was what his mother had done. She had abandoned him and Azura, and he wouldn’t be the next to hurt her like that. He also explained that he would be home during holidays and again in the summer. Thai was sorting into Ravenclaw, and fit in perfectly. He had studied hard while home and unable to attend school. Now he was in school where he could learn with a wand. Thai’s first year was a lonely year. His thoughts stayed with his sister, and hoped that everyone at home was well. He owled his family every day, a separate letter for Azura. His letters to her explained the wonders of Hogwarts and the different classes. Nothing special happened to Thai in the years that followed. Azura joined him at Hogwarts, just as he had told her she would. Now he’s in his sixth year, and he hasn’t changed much. Thai has made a few friends and has quit street dancing unless he was doing it in private, which was just while he was home. Thai’s unsure how this year will turn out, but he’s ready for anything that will come his way.
