Okay, a lot of you have red the sixth book I hope because I am curious for an opinoin on this idea.
In the sixth book, and possibly the fifth to, it talks about how it could have been either Harry or Neville (spelling?) could have been the chosen one. Well in the sixth book it then talks about horcruxes. Well I (with the help of someone else came up with an theory) In the first book it shows how Voldemort killed Lilly and then it says that he tried to kill harry. My theory:
What if he had stored part of his soul inside of Harry? What if Harry is a horcrux? and what if Neville is the one that kills both Harry and Voldemort??
I know this sounds kind of odd or weird, and I don't know if anyone else has already said this, but I just wondered if anyone else had a clue about what could happen in the seventh book. ((What's sad is I probably read this theory on the internet and I didn't realize, but that's one of the reasons why I posted this up here!)

Hmm. Give us time. It was Christmas and no one was online. About the theory – it’s up on internet in a number of places and I think most everyone is familiar with the theory of Harry being a Horcrux Voldemort didn’t create voluntarily. However the idea of Neville killing both is quite new and admittedly quite interesting. That line of thought definitely doest have it’s possibilities. *mulls over it for a bit* The more widely-spread theory is that Harry is an horcrux and that in the final battle Wonder-kid and Voldy kill each other. The other more popular theory seems to be that Harry Avada Kedavra’s himself, thereby destroying the last horcrux and killing Voldy.
But all these are only theories, so in the end we’ll have to wait for the 7th book to see which way Rowling decides to finish things up.

That theory is quite common, even if I myself don't hold much love for it. Which means that I'm extremely glad that J.K Rowling has confirmed that Neville is not connected to the prophecy, and neither Neville nor Harry have to kill eachother. *shrugs* Potter could well be a horcrux, but we just have to wait and see.

I don't have theories. I have pointshow I would like ti to turn out as, but no theories. I'm a bad detective anyway so I won't even attempt to climb into Rowling's mind. Not that I'd actually want overly much mind you. An other theory I found amusing was put in a parody state. I don't remember the exact wording but the point was that Voldy gest sucked into his wand. Wonder-ki tramples on the wand, breaking it and thereby killing Voldy. Good old Nike's saved hte world. *smirks*
